Dropping Bobby Pins

Many of my male friends and I have moments where we renounce our estrogen challenged existence and essentially "queen out." We'll enlarge our gestures, give a snap and perhaps even refer to each other as "honey," "bitch," or "Miss. Thing." We will embark on "read sessions" and sometimes just be plain "messy." During those times all the bobby pins fall out, allowing the hair to fly.

For most of us, these are only moments. The rest of the time we are just regular dudes. Occasionally, a bobby pin may pop out and someone may have to duck to avoid losing an eye, but for the most part, we are men who really enjoy our gender.

Dropping bobby pins is a term that grew from the Looney Tunes character, Witch Hazel. Whenever she takes off in pursuit of Bugs, she leaves a trail of hair pins in her wake. It's total camp and all in great fun. Please don't be ofended if I ever say you've dropped a bobby pin. We all do sometimes.

Often, I've had to defend some of my expressions. Here is a visual explanation.

Hmm - yea, I know you're right about this. From time to time my bobby pins will drop - but I pick them back up real soon - lol.

I'm mad that I was able to say the lines of this short word for word unrehearsed! I love bugs!
